Une fois libéré, il a travaillé à l'American Dye Mill la nuit et a fréquenté UConn pendant la journée pour obtenir un baccalauréat en commerce tout en soutenant sa famille.

Après avoir obtenu son diplôme, il a commencé une longue carrière chez The Travelers Companies.

En cours de route, il est devenu un spécialiste certifié des avantages sociaux tout en obtenant son MBA de l'Université du Connecticut.

Il a occupé divers postes dans la gestion d'actifs et les services de retraite jusqu'à sa retraite en tant que vice-président après 33 ans de service.

He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War where he met the love of his life and married in April 1954.

Once discharged, he worked at the American Dye Mill at night and attended UConn during the day pursuing a BS degree in Business while still supporting his family.

Upon receiving his degree began a long career at The Travelers Companies.

Along the way he became a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist while earning his MBA degree from the University of Connecticut.

He was in various positions in Asset Management and Pension Services until retiring as Vice President after 33 years of service.
