Avant sa retraite, Erick a été employé par la Stanadyne Corporation pendant plus de 43 ans.

Il a fait du bénévolat auprès de la St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Bernard's Church, de la Enfield Historical Society, du Enfield Ambulance Committee, de Loaves and Fishes et de l'Enfield Food Shelf.

Vétéran de la Seconde Guerre mondiale et membre des Tin Can Sailors, Erick a fièrement servi son pays en tant que membre de la marine américaine à bord du U.S.S. Eberlé.

Il était un membre actif de longue date du John Maciolek Post # 154 de la Légion américaine.

Il a participé à leur garde d'honneur. Erick a été membre du service d'incendie de Hazardville de 1951 à 1972, prenant sa retraite en tant que chef adjoint.

Il a également été historien du département de 1972 à 2008 et commissaire aux incendies. Le service dévoué d'Erick au service d'incendie a duré plus de 57 ans.

Prior to his retirement, Erick was employed by the Stanadyne Corporation for over 43 years.

He volunteered his time with the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Bernard’s Church, the Enfield Historical Society, Enfield Ambulance Committee, Loaves and Fishes and the Enfield Food Shelf.

A veteran of WWII and a member of the Tin Can Sailors, Erick proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy onboard the U.S.S. Eberle.

He was a longtime and active member of the John Maciolek Post #154 of the American Legion.

He participated in their Honor Guard. Erick was a member of the Hazardville Fire Department from 1951-1972, retiring as a Deputy Chief.

He also served as the historian for the department from 1972-2008 and as a Fire Commissioner. Erick’s dedicated service to the fire department spanned over 57 years.
