Note		Il a servi dans l'Armée canadienne pendant la guerre de Corée. Il avait le grade de caporal et a reçu la Médaille du service coréen et la Médaille du service d'Extrême-Orient. C'est pendant son service qu'il a eu un rendez-vous à l'aveugle avec Ambroisine Maillet qui vivait dans la ville de Mavillette en Nouvelle-Écosse. Ils tombèrent amoureux et se marièrent le 25 juin 1952. En avril 1955, ils émigrèrent aux États-Unis et s'installèrent à Somerville. Le couple a eu un fils et trois filles. Après 21 ans à Somerville, ils ont déménagé à Burlington, où ils ont élu domicile depuis 46 ans. Il a débuté sa carrière comme opérateur de machine chez Consolidated Paper & Box à Somerville. Il était alors opérateur de machine chez Simplex Wire and Cable à Cambridge. Il a ensuite été manager chez Service Master pendant 15 ans. Son dernier poste était au centre de santé communautaire Dimock à Roxbury, où il était responsable de la maintenance. Il a transformé son amour pour les vieux films en une entreprise possédant et gérant un magasin de location de films à Burlington appelé « Video Connection ». He served in the Canadian Army during the Korean War. He held the rank of Corporal and was the recipient of the Korean Service Medal and Far Eastern Service Medal. It was during his time in the service that he went on a blind date with Ambroisine Maillet who lived in the town of Mavillette in Nova Scotia. They fell in love and were married on June 25, 1952. In April of 1955, they immigrated to the United States and settled in Somerville. The couple had a son and three daughters. After 21 years in Somerville, they moved to Burlington, where they have made their home for the past 46 years. He started his career as a machine operator at Consolidated Paper & Box in Somerville. He was then a machine operator for Simplex Wire and Cable in Cambridge. He was then a manager at Service Master for 15 years. His last position was at Dimock Community Health Center in Roxbury where he was the maintenance manager. He turned his love for old movies into a business owning and running a movie rental store in Burlington called the “Video Connection”.
