Cyrial was a former chef at the Westmorland Hotel and retired from the Meat Department at Deware's Supermarket. He was a member of St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church and a Veteran of World War II, having served with the Canadian Army from 194

3 to 1947. Cyrial enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his family and friends.
