Jacques was a 1967 graduate of St. Malachy's High School. He attended St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, N.S. and furthered his studies at the University of Alberta where he graduated with a degree in Dance and Fine Arts. In 2009 he rece

s he resided in Bangkok. While in Thailand he worked as a lecturer at Thammasart University teaching writing and public speaking as well as working for the Thai Vocational Institute as a teacher and a writer of textbooks for teaching English
