Pendant ses études au St. Francis Xavier University de 1951 à 1954, Langis s'est entraîné avec U.N.T.D. puis fut officier dans la R.C.N. (R). Il a obtenu son Doctorat en chiropractie du Palmer Chiropractic College, Davenport, Iowa, en 1957 et prat

iqua sa chiropractie à Moncton de 1968 à 1997. Il fut président fondateur de l'Association libérale de Moncton Est.

Très impliqué dans sa communauté, Langis fut président du Comité de parents des Jeunes Chanteurs d'Acadie, du St. Pat's Family Centre et du Musée de Moncton. Il a également siégé au Conseil d'administration du Centre Coop et membre du Moncton Garr

ison Officer's Mess et du Club de curling Beauséjour. Il était également un membre actif de la paroisse St. Bernard's.

Au cours des dernières années, Langis était un opérateur de radio amateur; il aimait la pêche, le jardinage et il était l'homme à tout faire tant à la maison qu'au chalet. Il était musical et jouait de l'harmonica aux rencontres familiales. Langi

s aimait également jouer aux cartes, était bilingue et fier de sa culture française acadienne. Langis et Janet adoraient passer l'été à leur chalet de Caissie Cape avec la famille et leurs amis.

a at family gatherings. Langis was also an avid card player, was bilingual and supported his French Acadian culture. Langis and Janet enjoyed many summers at their cottage in Caissie Cape with family and friends.
