Note

A veteran of World War II, he served in the Royal Canadian Air Force in Newfoundland and Labrador. His culinary skills, learned as a youth while working with his father in lumber camps, led to a lifetime occupation as a chef, largely in the kitche

ns of the DVA Hospital. He lived most of his adult life in the Martinon-Grand Bay area where he was a willing volunteer. Vince delivered Meals on Wheels and served for many years on the Board of Directors of the Bayview Credit Union and as a Cu

b Scout Leader with the Ketepec Scout troop for 18 years. He was a long-time member of the Knights of Columbus Council 9176. In more recent years, one of his great joys was singing, especially in the choir at St. Matthew's Church, and he loved tra

veling to the Caribbean with his family.
