While growing up in Saint John, he operated his own business, Simonds Disposal for over 20 years and was employed at Rothesay Paper Company until his retirement in 1988. Norman was a Veteran of the Second World War, serving in Britain and Europ

e with the R.C.A. 5th Field Regiment. He was a member of Jarvis Bay Royal Canadian Legion Branch #53, the Canadian Celiac Association and was a member of St. Ann's Church. Norman was a member of Simonds Volunteer Fire Dept. and the United Commerci

al Travellers Association for several years. He was an avid sportsman, enjoying many years of hunting, fishing and curling.
