Note		Dans sa jeunesse, Roberts travaillait à l'usine d'Ocean Falls, en Colombie-Britannique. À son retour dans sa ville natale à la fin des années 70, il a travaillé dans la construction ainsi que comme débardeur au port de Belledune. Robert a ensuite commencé à conduire un taxi à Dalhousie et dans les environs pendant quarante ans. **** In Roberts's younger days he was employed at the mill in Ocean Falls B.C. Upon returning to his hometown in the late seventies he worked in construction as well as a longshoreman at the Port of Belledune. Robert then began driving cab in and around Dalhousie for forty years.
