Note		Après avoir travaillé à Goose Bay, Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, puis monté à cheval sur la Colline du Parlement en tant que gendarme en formation auprès de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada, Ottawa ON, Joe a commencé sa longue carrière en tant qu'avocat et a été admis à l'Association du Barreau du Nouveau-Brunswick le 1er juin 1971, où il a ensuite exercé le droit à Richibucto, Nouveau-Brunswick, jusqu'à sa retraite à l'âge de 69 ans. Avant son admission au Barreau, à la fin des années 60, Joe a enseigné à l'école secondaire de Richibucto où, pendant son mandat d'enseignant, il a organisé le premier 773e Escadron des cadets de l'Air et en a été le commandant de 1967 à 1969. Au cours de sa carrière d’avocat/notaire, Joe a été nommé conseiller de la Reine en 1990. Il a également participé à de nombreux comités et a amassé de nombreux certificats d’apprécia From working in Goose Bay NL to horseback on Parliament Hill as a Constable-in-training with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Ottawa ON, Joe began his long career as a Lawyer and was admitted to the New Brunswick Bar Association on the 1st of June, 1971, where he then practiced law in Richibucto NB until his retirement at the age of 69. Prior to his admission to the Bar Association, in the late 60’s, Joe taught at the Richibucto High School in which, during his teaching tenure, organized the first 773 Air Cadets Squadron and was the Commanding Officer from 1967-69. During his career as Lawyer / Notary, Joe was nominated to Queen’s Counsel in 1990. He also participated with many committees and amassed many certificates of appreciation including a Commendation from the Governor General of Canada in 2007.
