Note À un jeune âge, il a appris à jouer de divers instruments, mais la batterie est ce qu'il aimait le plus.
Il est bien connu pour sa musique de danse et son jazz populaires et entraînants.
Il a formé l'Orchestre Amos Landry au début des années 40, que CKCW enregistrait parfois en direct depuis la salle de bal Embassy pour divertir ses auditeurs à la maison.
Au milieu des années 50, il évolue avec le temps pour former The Amos Landry Quintet (AL5).
Il a pris sa retraite de CBC Radio/TV, mais on se souviendra surtout d'avoir animé des danses amusantes pendant plus de 40 ans.

At a young age, he learned to play a variety of instruments, but drumming is what he enjoyed best.
He's well known for his popular upbeat dance music & jazz.
He formed The Amos Landry Orchestra in the early 40s, which CKCW would record live at times from The Embassy Ball room to entertain their listeners at home.
Mid 50s he changed with the times to form The Amos Landry Quintet (AL5).
He retired from CBC Radio/TV, but will be remembered most for hosting fun filled dances for over 40yrs.
