Ray was a quiet man who was very devoted to his family. He particularly enjoyed the O`Neil family get togethers, where music and singsongs were great fun.

Ray attended St. Francis Xavier University where he played on both the football and hockey teams. He served in the navy in World War II. He had a great love of reading and sports. He was an avid curler, having skipped his teams to many championshi
