Avant sa retraite, il était propriétaire de Francis Belliveau Ltd. et de Belco Stables, avec qui il avait un Champion du Monde, Falcon Seelster.

Il avait aussi été propriétaire du hockey junior « A » », les Beavers de Moncton dans les années 1970 et était un fidèle partisan de Sydney Crosby et des Pingouins de Pittsburgh.

Prior to retirement, he was the owner/operator of Francis Belliveau Ltd. and Belco Stables, where he had a World Champion Horse, Falcon Seelster.

He was also the past owner of the junior "A" hockey, Moncton Beavers in the late 1970's and was an avid fan of Sydney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
