Note		Avant sa retraite, Albert avait travaillé pendant 40 ans pour le CN. Il avait également été impliqué avec la Credit Union, membre du comité Resolutions for the Canadian Brotherhood of Railway, Transport and General Workers et bénévole avec Centraide pendant 23 ans. Albert started working at CN in 1948 as a clerk and became a Special Projects Manager in 1979. He worked for 40 years until he retired in July 1988. He was a loans officer for the Credit Union, a member of the Resolutions for the Canadian Brotherhood of Railway, Transport and General Workers Committee. He volunteered and helped organize the United Way Campaign for CN and for the City of Moncton for 23 years from 1966 to 1989.
