She attended school in Mundleville and graduated from high school in Richibucto, then worked in the office of A. E. Mundle Co. Alice married Yvon J. Richard in 1952, continuing to do bookkeeping for his business while raising a family. She late

r worked as a secretary at the School Board Office and Elementary School and in Rexton. Alice moved to Amherst following the death of her husband, Yvon in 2007 to be closer to her daughter & family.

She was a member of the United Church of Canada in both Rexton and Amherst, involved in UCW in both communities. She loved to travel and enjoyed watching her three grandsons play sports.
