Francis spent most of his life outdoors. From being on the water as a lobster fisherman, working for A.L. LeBlanc in the summer for 20 years, to in the yard, growing vegetables in his garden, and setting rabbit traps.

Francis was always actively enjoying his land when he wasn’t busy gardening, he was woodworking or helping his family and friends, as he never shied away from hard work or lending a helping hand.

He was an active member of the credit committee for the Credit Union in Wedgeport for 25 years.
