Il a servi avec le 22e Régiment à Val Cartier durant la guerre de Corée. Il a été président de la Légion Royale Canadienne et membre de Conseil Scolaire pendant les années 1970. Pour ceux qui le connaissent bien il était très impliqué dans la poli

tique provincial. Il était aussi un des fondateurs du Pays de la Sagouine. Raymond était très fier d’être Acadien.

He was a well-known businessman and founded R.J. Hébert Insurance Ltd in the late 1960's where he enjoyed serving his customers and friends for over 20 years. After retirement, he developed a passion for wood working and spent many hours doing pro
