Vicky’s parents separated when she was very young and as a result spent her childhood in foster homes.

One of which was the late Matt and Katie Ryan of Chatham Head.

At the age of 18 Vicky left New Brunswick on her own, to look for work in Toronto, Ontario.

Before retiring she worked for CP Rail as a Keypunch Operator for many years.
