Olwin was a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University and was a former nurse, having worked several years with the New Brunswick Public Health Department. She was a member of St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church and also attended Holy Family Catho

lic Church. She enjoyed reading, doing volunteer work for Meals on Wheels and the Moncton Public Library. Olwin was an avid bridge player and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
