Avant sa retraite, Léandre travaillait au DND Supply Depot no 5. Ayant servi outremer, il était un ancien combattant de la Seconde Guerre mondiale et membre de la Légion de Moncton. Amateur de golf, il était membre au Club de golf Pine Needles.

Prior to his retirement, Léandre worked at the DND Supply Depot #5. He was a veteran of the Second World War having served overseas and a member of the Moncton Legion. He loved playing golf and was a member of the Pine Needles Golf Club.
